Loved it despite the awful weather

Great run, could be more sustainable and inclusive
Loved this run, great atmosphere. Two thoughts to improve:
1. The Santa outfits were pretty much single use (thin, soaked and torn by the end), and a huge amount of these will have been sent straight to the bin afterwards. Please offer an option for people to bring their own Santa suit, when booking.
2. The stones and debris from the sea on the promenade made it really hard for a wheelchair user to navigate the route. I saw someone ask the cadet / army lead (adult man in combat uniform) if he could clear a path through the stones for the wheelchair user, and he didn't try. That felt pretty disappointing - even an attempt at kicking stones clear in his patch would have been greatly appreciated. For next year - think about whether those with disabilities will need the path cleared to enable them to be included.

Great fun, a good start to Christmas
It’s lovely to see so many Santas but definitely need to think about sustainability and the environment impact of the Santa suits.

Great fun, raising money for local charities, very inclusive. Happy vibe.
Lovely event for all ages and abilities. Amazing sight of hoardes of Santas lighting up a dull day.

3rd year
3rd year of doing it great fun for the whole family. Well organised. Weather wasn’t great but you don’t have any control over that. Would be nice if there were cold drinks at the finish for kids. Spiced apple juice was delicious but too hot for them

Loved it were 70+ but loved it even if we were drenched! Lovely hot apple juice in de la Warr and chocolate in ruddy duck! Thanks.

Can you please make the sun come out next year
Frances McKenna
Such a great experience, really enjoyed it!
Would only suggest that the warm up is led from the balcony at the DLWP as I couldn't see what was happening from the back of the group.

This year was the first time we took part - very well organised and inclusive as caters for all abilities and suitable for wheelchairs. Great fun would recommend and take part again
